Medley of Marathi poems and dance performed in Pune
Kollage, an entertaining medley of Marathi poems and dance was recently held at Gyaan Adab, Kalyani Nagar. The event brought together author/poet Ravindra Mathadhikari’s Marathi poems with a contemporary twist. Each poem was brought to life through dance movements, expressions, props and the Indian Taala system to suit its uniqueness. This creative piece of work was produced by Artsphere Pune in collaboration with dancers from NaadPune, Aparna Gandhi and Varda Vaishampayan, along with dancer, Karishma Harlalka. The narration was done by Preetam Ranjana, mardala by Ramprasad Gannavarapu and music digitally created by Shantanu Rao.
The audiences were amused to see this unique combination performed together.
