Mhada to use 200 acre prime land in Pune to house lower income groups

The Maharashtra housing and area development authority (Mhada) plans to utilise its 200 acres prime land parcel in western Maharashtra for providing housing for the lower income groups. Addressing a press conference in the city on Wednesday, Ashok Kakade, Mhada Pune vice chairman and chief officer, said that 90 per cent of the land parcel in Pune region is urban.
